Alice in Wonderland
One of a Kind from polymer clay.
Once apron a time there was a little girl who
through her wildest dreams never thought she would enter a fantasy tale so
incredible. While exploring inside this new world, Alice came across this
smoking caterpillar. Both characters are OOAK sculptures. Alice is
sculpted from polymer clay, cloth body with a posable armature. She
measures approximately 17 1/2 inches tall. Her eyes are green glass and
very beautiful. Blond angora mohair hair. She is wearing a blue dress, the
underskirt is a tint deeper color of blue and the top layer is a blue
chiffon that is very soft and flowing. Her white petticoat and apron both
from antique fabrics and lace. Her shoes are black and made from fabric.
The caterpillar is smoking his pipe. This magical pipe comes all the way
from China. The inlay on this pipe is jade and on the very front of the
pipe stands a tiny silver rabbit. Just so cute. This is a very old piece
and a real treasure. Mr. caterpillar is sculpted from Paperclay as is the
mushroom he sits on. Both are painted with acrylic paints. The total
height of this piece from the base of the resin stump to the top of the
caterpillar's head is 21 and 1/2 inches. The stump measures 5 and 1/2
inches tall. The caterpillar measures 18 inches long. Green grass covers
the base for Alice to stand on and tiny ivy with flowers growing at the
bottom of the stump |
