Laurel and Louisa
One of a kind

Laurel is sculpted from Cernit.  Her body is flexible and she is has posable arms and legs.  Her head swivels to either side.  If she were standing she would be 24” tall.  She sits 21” tall on her trunk.  Laurel’s brown eyes are hand-blown glass.  I made and styled her wig from mohair that is dyed a dark brown.  Her tiara is made with gold beads and Swarovski crystals.  Her clothing is sewn from fine silks and beaded lace.  Her sleeves are trimmed in little flowers and ribbon.  Her belt is a beautiful beaded ribbon.  Laurel is sitting on a fine metallic gold trunk.

Louisa is sculpted from Cernit.  Her body is flexible and she is has posable arms and legs.  Her head swivels to either side.  If she were standing she would be 23” tall.  She sits 20” tall on her ottoman.  Louisa’s brown eyes are hand-blown glass.  I made and styled her wig from mohair that is dyed a medium brown.  Her tiara is made with gold beads and Swarovski crystals. Her clothing is sewn from fine silks and velvet.  Her sleeves are trimmed with hand-made silk ribbon roses.  Her trim is hand-dyed silk.  Her purchased dolly is dressed up to match Louisa’s fabrics.  I made her bloomers from silk and ribbon.  Her top is made from hand-dyed silk ribbon and trimmed with hand-dyed silk ribbon flowers.  Louisa’s ottoman is covered with silk fabric and adorned with fine trims and tassels.
